The FJ Clock is still mounted in the historic Chamber, the venue of numerous meetings on human rights and international environmental work. The clock has survived several refurbishments and today hangs as the noticeable signature and acknowledgement of the designer of the Chamber.

Finn Juhl (1912-1989) was one of the best known Danish architects. Trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, he reaped Danish and international appraisal for his unique understanding of the intrinsic quality of a material and his ability to highlight it through shape, colour and complementary materials.
In a down-scaled version, the classic design of the Black Ashwood FJ Clock blends smoothly into the interior of modern homes. So design buffs can now in their homes display a design object that epitomises an irreplaceable institution of the international community.
With its circular shape, underpinning the black ashwood and the aluminium hands, the clock captures the essence of one of the greatest stars of Danish architecture and design. And characteristic of stars, no two hand-made clocks are the same.
