The Turning Trays are made out of teak wood and laminate, and are available in three different sizes. One side is black, and on the other there is Alaska White. Size: 23x45 cm, 30x48 cm and 38x51 cm
Teak wood: To keep the color in the wood we recommend to use a wood oil suitable for Teak wood. In our repair shop we use “Wood Oil – for indoor use”. Laminate cleaning: Use a clean, damp cloth or sponge with a mild soap, detergent, or household cleaner to clean the surface.
Finn Juhl was born in 1912. As an architect he revolutionized traditional Danish design in the 1940s and 1950s. In 2012 design fans all over the world celebrated his 100 year anniversary, which attracted even more attention to his designs. He incorporated both elegance and functionality in his designs, which inspires architects to this day. Especially celebrated are his attention to the qualities of materials and his sculptural forms.
Finn Juhl designed the Turning Tray in 1956. It bears all of the characteristic trademarks of his designs, with itscurved sides and precisely interlocking corners. The Turning Tray has different colours on each sides, which makes it possible to turn it around, depending on whichone you wish to use – hence the name.
The Turning Tray has no visible handles, which makes itboth timeless and practical. The two different coloured sides make it suitable for all times of the day and different occasions. You can for example serve your breakfast on the Angel Blue side and evening drinks on the black side.
