Handmade in our workshop in Ravina, Italy.
We use 3mm pure copper for our large braiser and make them in a 5.0qt. and 7.8qt. capacity. This large capacity with its relative low sides makes those pots ideal for braising, allowing the meat to have maximum contact with the heat source making it easier to get it all nicely browned before it simmers. The rounded transition from the base to the sides of the braiser makes working the food with utensils very easy.
The braiser is entirely hand-hammered and features 2 pure brass handles secured with pure copper rivets. The tinning is done utilizing the traditional fire-tinning method using only 100% pure, non-reactive tin.
Our copper cookware has a high heat tolerance of up to 450° Fahrenheit (230° Celsius).
We ship our braiser in a beautiful blue “Bottega Navarini” cloth bag.

Please note that minor cosmetic imperfections may occur. Small imperfections are a natural part of the handmade process and lend charm, depth, and individuality to each piece. We only use 100% pure materials such as copper, brass, and tin for our products. The entire process is made by hand and we utilize the traditional method of fire-tinning.
