A straight bar slides across the top of this rosegold cuff and secures the bracelet to your wrist with a turn of the built-in screw. The clever design is patented, making this style exclusive to the maker, Miansai. Inspired by sailboat hardware, the cuff has a timeless, modern aesthetic with a nautical twist. Each bracelet is hand-forged and finished in the Miami, Florida workshop. The base of this bracelet is made of brass, which is then coated with a thin layer of copper, which allows the rosegold plating to be applied. This bracelet has an extra-thick layer of 18 karat rosegold plating, so it is less likely to wear thin through continued use.
Be sure to take the bar completely out of the bracelet when you take it on and off. If you try to wedge your wrist into the bracelet with the bar partially in place, scratches can appear on the bar. Although you can wear the bracelet however you please, the cuff is intended to fit snugly around the wrist, with the bar worn on top.
These bracelets are all cast and finished in a Miami, Florida workshop that is directly below the design studio. The designer, Michael Sager, finds inspiration from seascapes near his native New York, and works with a team of artisans to produce each handmade accessory.
This 18 karat rosegold cuff has a clever screw closure. The patented design is a bold twist on the classic bracelet. Handmade in Miami, Florida. At 2.5" wide and 2" long, the cuff is sized for a woman's wrist. Also available in Solid Brass and Sterling Silver. (more info)
