This compact but robust general purpose knife is useful for tasks big and small, indoor and outdoor. Forged from high carbon stainless steel, the blade is taper ground for extra strength and sharpness. Taper ground blades are the strongest and sharpest of knives, due to the fact that they are forged out of a single sheet of metal, with a smooth, gradually tapered edge as opposed to a drastic, unstable bevel.
For extra safety, the blade locks into position while in use, and is easily released by depressing the lock lever on the back of the handle. Headed rivets (hammered from a single piece of metal) add durability to this hardy, go-anywhere knife.
Manufactured by a trusted name in cutlery since 1764, the brushed satin finish adds modern appeal to this pocketknife.
Keep sand and grit out of the knife. Clean knife by applying an industrial lubricant or oil and scrubbing crevices with a toothbrush.
Registered in 1764, knife manufacturer Joseph Rodgers has served under five successive monarchies, from its founding in the 18th century to the early 20th century: George IV, William IV, Queen Victoria, Edward II and George V.
To this day, Joseph Rodger's knives continue to be made in Sheffield, England, a city renowned for being one of the world's most respected steel work centers.
Compact, heavy-duty general purpose knife for indoor and outdoor use. Taper ground stainless steel blade with locking feature for safety. Brushed satin finish, with headed rivets for extra durability. Made in England since 1764.
