Singer-songwriter and guitarist Michael Elias, has been making leather goods since 2007. Founder of Tomahawk Portland, Michael moved his homespun operation to an old barn, built circa the 1920s, in the middle of Portland, Oregon, in 2009. Michael is mostly self-taught, gaining inspiration and techniques from saddle makers and other seasoned leathersmiths. When not creating leather goods, he is making albums and touring the country with his band, Denver the Band.
