Store, carry and organize your tools in this California-made, American steel tool box. The steel is treated with a heat cured powder finish in order to withstand harsh conditions at the building site or in your garage workshop. The large lower compartment and removable upper tray provides plenty of room for screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, gloves, safety glasses and more.
The lid is attached with a full-length, piano-style hinge for smooth opening and closing. When ready for storage or travel, the box closes securely with a drawback latch and padlock clasp.
No special care is required for the toolbox. Simply wipe down with a cloth dampened with soap and water, or a mild household detergent if necessary.
The company that makes our metal tool box has been operating in California since 1940, when it opened up shop with its first product: the tool box. Since then, the brand has expanded its collection, and runs a workshop of four employees. All of the steel, latches, hinges and handles are sourced from companies in the U.S., making each item offered a purely American-made product.
About 10 years ago, the company switched from the usual liquid paint finish to their current oven cured powder coat, which can better withstand bumps and nicks.
