Instead of relying on gravity to pull the ink, the pen's pressurized cartridge is charged with a small amount of nitrogen to provide a consistent flow of ink. It's activated with the pressure of writing, so there's no need to wear a pocket protector or worry about ink stains. Jot down a quick note against any available surface without worrying about a start-and-stop ink flow.
No special care is required for this stainless steel keychain pen.
This compact keychain pen was produced by a gentleman in Iowa. He carries one on his own keychain everyday. He designed the pen with a pressurized ink cartridge so that you can write efficiently in any situation or position you may unexpectedly find yourself in.
Paul C. Fisher invented the pressurized ink cartridge in 1965 with astronauts and their zero-gravity journeys specifically in mind. In October 1968, Mr. Fisher’s pen was standard issue for the crew aboard Apollo 7.
You'll always have a pen on hand with this stainless steel keychain pen.
