Elegant stainless steel wine opener with solid horn handle made in the Laguoile region of France. Created by a single master craftsman from start to finish. Also available in Olive Wood. (more info)

This stainless steel wine opener with a solid horn handle was manually shaped, assembled, and decorated by a single craftsperson from start to finish; no two wine openers are exactly alike. With its durable solid horn handle, rust-proof Sandvik stainless steel components, and sleek, sinuous profile, this wine opener makes for an extraordinary gift or a beautiful addition to a lavish dinner party or well-appointed home bar.

The first Laguoile knife was created by Pierre-Jean Calmels in 1829, and the knife-making trade has come to define the area ever since. Laguoile en Aubrac, the region’s oldest maker, produces this wine opener, which is fastidiously handcrafted by a single master cutler, from handle-shaping to blade-fitting.

Made of hardy, low-maintenance materials, this impressive wine opener is made to last for generations of special occasions. The blade is forged from ultra strong Swedish Sandvik stainless steel, which sharpens easily, holds an excellent edge, and never rusts. The handle is harvested from the solid, dense tip of a cow or water buffalo horn, ensuring a smooth and reliable grip. The handle’s striking pattern and the blade’s slim profile take this wine opener far beyond a functional tool, and into the territory of a beautiful tabletop addition or extraordinary gift for a wine-loving friend.
